As part of the new commission for the National Railway Museum I’ve been working with NRM staff and The Snappy Trust to develop the art work.
Snappy is an awesome charity that provides quality play and recreational opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and additioanal access requirements.
I have to admit, I was slightly apprehensive before the sessions as I’d no idea what to expect and was worried whether the kids and young people would enjoy the activities we’d prepared. I needn’t have worried. All the kids and young people were totally awesome – they were engaged, super creative and brilliant fun! Thank you all for taking part in the sessions with such vim and vigour and for all your input!
A HUGE thanks also to the staff and volunteers at Snappy – what an inspirational bunch you are. Thanks too to Bethany Rose-Cadell, Sassy Holmes and Emily Yates for all your expertise and enthusiasm.
Happy Christmas one and all!
