Do you know a woman who has made a contribution to the city of Leeds that you would like to see celebrated on Ribbons?
If so, you can nominate your mum, sister, friend of colleague to have their name included on one of the five ribbons of steel that make up the sculpture to be sited on Quarry Hill between Leeds Playhouse and Leeds City College.
Other nominations might include women who are leaders in their field such as business, sport, industry, public service, the arts as well as those who have made a contribution to their family or community such as charity workers, nurses, teachers or volunteers. Names of historical female figures are also welcome.
