Walking In Other People’s Footsteps

Posted 7 years ago

A new year and a new project! I’m delighted to be working with Mirador Arts on ‘Walking In Other People’s Footsteps’. The project is a response to the Elizabeth Roberts Working Class Oral History Archive, one of the most remarkable and important collections of oral history testimonies of working class life in north west England. To celebrate its digitisation this year by the Regional Heritage Centre, artists are making new works in response to its content and locations in Barrow, Lancaster and Preston.

I’ll be working in Preston and creating a playful and participatory artwork that includes making, digital technology, community participation and street play.

I’ll be posting an update soon but in the meantime, check out the Mirador website for more info especially about the other artists.
